Tanner

Tanners take animal and produce some of the most sought after products in Epimetheus. It is not a coveted profession however. The process of preparing, or tanning, a hide is both involved and stinky. But when done properly, some of the most luxurious furs and leathers are produced. And these items are favorites of many lords, ladies and gentry throughout the realms.

Like a Tailor, this profession has three separate areas of specialization that a Tanner can focus on. Soft Leathers, which includes furs, Medium Leather producing various armors and satchels, and Hard Leather which also produces armor along with various other industrial products. A Tanner also dyes many of their products, sometimes using dyes from Tailors and bonding ingredients from an Alchemist.
